efax: No alert for incoming fax

I am able to successfully send and receive faxes on my PC. But there is no indication of an incoming fax so there is no way to know a fax is coming, just by watching (while testing in same room) that other person is sending fax, and clicking "Answer the call" I receive fax. What that is not possible in real deployment. STANDBY MODE (automatic answering mode) is not working. I changed initialization params from Z &FE&D2S7=120 &C0 M1L0 to Z &FE&D2S7=120 &C0 M1L2 S11=55 but no success. Any help will be appreciated. -- H.S.Rai

[Commercial] The Muktware Manual Project

Brussels, Belgium: We are pleased to announce The Muktware Manual Project. The aim of this project is to create comprehensive manuals/user guides for different Gnu/Linux-based operating systems. The core focus of this project is to help users in installing and using GNU/Linux systems through extremely easy, step-by-step instructions. The guides will feature images and videos to make it even easier for a novice to install & use their systems. We have selected 6 distros for this project: 1. Ubuntu 2. Kubuntu 3. Linux Mint 4. Fedora 5. openSuse 6. Debian Each project will be led by an editor. Each editor will be paid a renumeration of US $150 per project. The deadline to finish & submit the project is April 28th, 2011. We are looking for editors who can commit to releasing the projects in time and ensure error free copies of the manuals/guides. The Guides will be developed internally, but once finalized they will be released as open-source projects published under a creative commons license. The project will be open to be edited by anyone - just like a wiki. The Muktware Manual Project is our contribution to the development and growth of the free software technologies. The aim of this project is to create a comprehensive pool of information under a single roof which will benefit not just one distro, but GNU/Linux in general. Low Cost Attendance Registering System with Biometrics using FOSS

Hello, I am happy to announce that the application is finally ready. Thanks to all those who helped with their valuable inputs. The system not only marks employees as present with their thumbnail photos and a monthly report but it also rejects wrong names and prevents duplicate / repeat marking for every day. If an employee signs on someone else's name then his photo is clicked with that user's name and his hanky panky is recorded. After a duration of some hours that will be decided by the company boss, the system even marks those who are absent as 'Absent' in their monthly log. Adding or removing users is simply a process of editing a single text file with a list of employees. -- As a proper list etiquette..... Please trim your replies. Avoid cross posting to other lists. Sudo Issues [Solved]

By changing the modified line below Defaults env_reset, runas_default=rony to Defaults:test runas_default=rony Now the user 'test' can run a command as user 'rony' and user 'rony' continues to use sudo like before. I think what happened was that since Defaults:......... was blank, it assumed runas 'rony' for all users. By specifying Defaults:test, the rule applied only to the user 'test'. I have not tried it but does it mean that the line Defaults:..... can be set one below the other for different users and different respective rules? -- As a proper list etiquette.....
