I have set up XAMPP[1] (a distribution of Apache+PHP+MySQL+ProFTPD etc) via SSH on a server located outside. It doesn't give any errors on start-up, but images fail to load. Images are broken links. Hi All, I have downloaded and tried installing fbi . Pls remember I want to only work from command line . However thanks guys for all this support. In the case of fbi it has some prerequisites. Postfix and ldap

Hello, have configured postfix to query the ldap server to verify email addresses as follows: local_recipient_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/aliases,ldap:ldap-usermap unknown_local_recipient_reject_code = 450 The problem is if the ldap servers are unavailable postfix rejects all email without queuing for retry. Is it possible to configure postfix to defer delivery of any email when the ldap servers are offline. Hi I have written a lot of shell scripts but have always wanted to see an image or put in a photo in one of my scripts . Honestly I have not looked for any such utility or rpm or package that will allow me to do this , but I ma now going to search for one , If anyone knows of this kind of feature for bash shell . hi I have installed Suse 9.1 on Server. I have one more PC with onboard Networking card with PXE. I have installed LTSP 4.1 on server. I have configured everything as per LTSP guide and NOVELL Cool Solutions Setting up LTSP (Linux Terminal Server Project) and SUSE Linux Enterprise 9 for PXE Support.htm but still I am getting error on client that PXE : Filename is not received... Now what exactly it is not getting ? What should I do ? Please reply Neel

Hello All, I was looking for a simple net monitor that provided the two monitor icons and gave visual indications of Tx/Rx traffic. My system, Kubuntu 5.10. For Kde, I found 'knemo'. I downloaded this and it now provides the two monitor icons indicating net traffic. When you run it for the first time, you need to add your net interface to the empty list. compilation error in cyrus-imapd-2.2.12

we tried to compile cyrus-imapd-2.2.12 with ldap and kerberos support. mod_authz_ldap and ssl

Hello, I am running RHEL4 ES and httpd comes with mod_authz_ldap. It seems there is no support for ssl in mod_authz_ldap but I can't believe that. However, I cannot see a single thing mentioned about ssl or certificates on the mod_authz_ldap homepage except client cert mapping. I neeed it to work over ldaps. Can you confirm that is does not support ldaps ? If i'm wrong, what directives can you use to point it to the cert file etc... I'm not using client certs. I just want to use ssl between httpd and the ldap box for authenticating users to webapps. If anyone in the community is interested in developing further applications with this database, please get in touch with me off list. Kmail, Gmail problem about seeing own's posts...

Hi, For those of you who are using Gmail with POP and Kmail and are unable to see their own replies, upgrade to KDE 3.4 or later. They seem to have fixed this issue. When I first started using Kmail with Gmail's POP servers, Kmail wouldn't fetch my own replies from Gmail's inbox. I could see my replies in the web interface but Kmail decided to ignore them. Recently I switched over to FC4 and the default Kmail client fetches my replies. Alas, this machine is still on FC2 and KDE 3.2 :( Just thought the list would like to know. ciao! -- Dinesh A. Joshi

E-agriculture aims to harness the potential of information and communication technology (ICT) to enhance the dissemination of vital information on agriculture to the rural population. Various agencies - including government, corporates and NGO's - have utilized ICT to implement innovate solutions and facilitate the access to knowledge. The Baramati Initiative seeks to synergize these learnings through presentations and panel discussions involving not only experts and practitioners from NGOs, corporations and government agencies, but also the grassroots partners , the ultimate beneficiaries. hi, recently installed spamassassin. Am running spamd as root and have configured it to work with postfix. I regularly put all the missed spam into a folder and run sa-learn on it. Only thing is, it doesnt seem to be learning. I have fed it over 500 mails so far - but still no learning. I am running sa-learn as root. Do i need to run it as any specific user?
