Hi, How can I configure two LAN cards in Linux. And I want to configure routing between this cards. ie , How will I configure linux as a router, as I need to configure this machine as a proxy server. Pls help me thanks, Rajesh

ssh without passwords?

I am logged in to host A. I want to ssh to host B without giving a password. I run ssh-keygen on A. I copy-paste the public key file to B. I attempt ssh from A to B. B asks for password. Some Changes in groupware

Dear all, Trevor pointed out that the mentors could not create projects under the projects section in phprojekt. I have made some changes for this to take effect. New users who sign in as mentors will now be able to create new projects. As for those already signed in, I made the changes manually. Please let me know if anyone faces any problem in signing in, especially existing users. I am also in the process of changing the forum to something more accessible - something which won't require a login, and with search abilities. Also..there was a post sometime back regarding a repository of configuration files. Settting up squid cache box

hello ppl I have a 512k leased line...for internet access.right now i am using the NAT feature of the router(i dont have a CISCO router, other wise i guess i could use router feature for redirection) to give access to the internet.Is is possible to setup linux multihomed box...acting as the default gateway (instead of the current router) & proxy, masq and caching server..so that i can save bandwidth and log all the user activities..please give u r inputs..I have 32 public ips. i guess an extra hop wouldt make any difference. Current setup Router <---> hub <---> users Suggested setup Router (s0 wan port ip, eth0-public ip) | Linux Multihomed Box (eth0- public ip, eth1- private ip) | Hub | Users

knowing what other user is doing
