The package repository has been built for ARMv5 EABI, soft-float, little endian. The majority of the important and frequently used Fedora packages have been built for ARM. The Fedora/ARM architecture wiki page has more info: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Architectures/ARM The easiest way to start using Fedora 8/ARM is to download the prebuilt root filesystem, which can be booted in QEMU, or chroot'ed into or booted from on any ARMv5 or later processor running in little endian mode. Additional packages can be installed by using yum, which is provided in the filesystem. not able to open network manager.

hello friends. i'm using ubuntu...and xfce desktop environment. I'm not able to open the network manager to add the Ip address. and i dont know how to do this via terminal. so please help me how i can open network manager to change my static IP and gateway and other info... thanks in advance.

Yum country specific mirror list

Hi, I'm using Fedora 8. Nowadays yum is updating at extremely slow speeds from Asian mirrors. mirrorlist.txt is filled with asian servers only. Is there any way that yum downloads Non Asian mirrors list from US or Europe? or on what basis does yum downloads country specific mirror lists. Is there any way to change the defaults? Hi all! MySQL will conduct a session in Bangalore and Delhi during the OSIW (Open Source India Week) where they want feedback on the topics the attendees will be interested in knowing more about. Following are a few topics that came forth when we were cooking the programme with MySQL's David Axmark and Brian Aker. 1. Zero hassles transition from MS Access/Oracle to MySQL 2. How to do Stored Procedures, Triggers & Views in MySQL 3. How to write storage engines for MySQL Those are some of the things that our DBA wants to know more about. Obviously, there should be many more topics that you all want covered or wanna discuss.
