I downloaded LIVES but thats too slow and hangs
U need a powerful machine with tons of ram to do nonlinear editing.
something thats easy to load directly from yum and works properly. I have converted some dvds to single mpeg files (in windows) and I need to split them into 2 cds. I was wonndering if any all purpose video editor is available for linux.
If u have converted using M$ mpeg4 format u are done for good. As usual M$ avi is on a nonstandard trip (or should that be rip) and wont render with any non M$ codec. Take the original dvd and convert on a linux box.
