Dear luggies, xinput has been transfered to http://xinput.sourceforge.net from earlier http://aspirants.everywebhost.com. older one is no longer accessible.
Just to remind all of you xinput has 10 Indian languages with which you can input in KOffice,OpenOffice,Kate,gedit etc. etc.
it supports inscript,phonetic,transliteration for Devanagari,Bengali,Gurmukhi,Kannada,Malayalam,Oriya, Sanskrit,Tamil,Telugu,Gujarati.
xinput also brings Arabic and Urdu. (introductory)
