[ILUG-BOM] X problem in SuSe

Dear luggers,

I have SuSe-9.1 installed on my machine. I am getting problem in starting X server.

I am getting following lines(errors) while running #startx

(EE) open /dev/fb0: No such device Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/, removing from list! Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/CID/, removing from list!

How to troubleshoot this problem.

I have commented the fontpath in /etc/X11/XF86Config in files section but didn't worked.

Red Hat has chkfontconfig to add and remove fontpath .

How to set font path in SuSe ???

While this is happening My Xfce is working properly.

I guess it must be font server (xfs) problem.

what could be the problem and so does the solution ????
