far worse are cable walla ISPs,
for example, I visit sify.com's broadband website and select a service plan list.
I call them and ask for their connection, their answer is to call my local cable operator and ask them for sify's connection.
When I do that, cable walla's charge as they like and say they dont provide sify's plans as listed on sify's website, they provided me with their own price list and askem me whose backend I want,
meaning .... I pay Rs. 750/month, and I can choose their own plan (from exatt lines), sify or pacenet
