you need to put Username and password as your full eight digit MTNL Number and dial on 24880000, It works for me.

I CAN CONNECT TO MTNL USING StartMenu(RedHat)->System Settintgs->Network->Mtnl->Activate. I couldnt find the chatscript for it in /etc/ppp.
