Hi, Edit the file /etc/ppp/peers/dsl-provider Scroll down and change mtu 1412 U actually don't need to change ...just remove the comments i.e # At the beginning of the line..and put 1 # at beginning of the previous line which says mtu 1452...also note the line has some parameters ...coz there is one more line near the end which says mtu 1492 don't change this one. I am using debian and try to connect to net using=ppoe and unable to do so. Log files shows the following

Status is: connecting

pppd[0]: Couldn't increase MTU to 1500 pppd[0]: Couldn't increase MRU to 1500
pppd[0]: Couldn't incre=se MTU to 1500
I have already modified options & dsl-prov=der file as mentioned below but with no luck.
