Here's a small explanation

Add a line as shown below to /etc/mail/sendmail.mc file
FEATURE(virtusertable)
Run the macroprocessor on the sendmail.mc file....to recreate the sendmail.cf file
Open /etc/mail/virtusertable and add the foll line
@domain1.com $1@domain2.com
mail addressed to anyuser@domain1.com is redirected to anyuser@domain2.com
