AFAIK It is disallowed First enable XAA, specify that you have only 4MB on your videocard Turn on turboqueue and fast_vram and force the dacspeed to 175 you should see a marked improvement in the cards performance. If you are still having problems use XAAnopixmapcache option it worked for me. I will mail you the XF86Config file
With X3.3.6 after tweaking modelines, I had a res of 1280x1024 24bpp with SIS6326 and samtel monitor. X4 gives a resolution of 1024 x 768 with bad displacements and "aspect ratio". So how do I specify the modeline or is it disallowed.
