windows 2000 comes with a telnet server, which can be found in the administrative tools folder in the control panel. it has to be started everytime windows starts. for it to start everytime by default, you haveto add it as a service using the 'Service' option in administrative tools.

I have one unix machine in my intranet that I can use from any other windows machine through telnet. but I am not able to run telnet on unix to access my win machines. why it is so ? what should I do start telnet service on this machine. plz help me.
