Yes, check your line losses and SNR. Should be minimal. If not, call up MTNL and tell them to change your wire. Also ensure that there are no other lines running along your telephone line ( LAN cable etc... ).
Poor MTNL. Damned if they didnt and now damned because they are doing.
Just speak to the people who had been at the receiving end of "Poor MTNL" ;-)
No such people generally dont speak. They go on a blind rampage of death and destruction... Afterall MTNL has driven them to it. Hehehe ;)
