Hi all,
I'm a new member to this mailing group.
I was installing Red Hat 9 on a friends machine.. it
gave an error "Linux Kernel interrupt handler error"
I know that it is a hardware config problem, but can
someone tell me where the exact problem lies.
The CD works fine on other machines.

As you know due to the block on the Yahoo Groups
a lot of linux communities had a bad time as same as
Bhopal LUG.
So that this does not happen i am planning to put
up a separate website exactly like the bombay LUG.
I want some guidance over how to go with it and if the
running codes are available as opensource so that we
can implement the same.

oscommerce, it is giving an error "Access denied for user: 'u ser(a)mydomain.com' (Using password: YES).

can some one tell me how to run multiple fetchmail session.
This has been done by one of my friend , but currently i am not able to find him.
I believe if we change the pid details in the source file , it should get the result.
Which will allow me to run fetchmail program with diff name , ex fetchmail , fetchmail-1, fetchmail-2

Dear Friends,
I want my local Linux Server to send all outgoing to my ISP server.
But they have SMTP Authentication installed on there server .
At local server i am using qmail with vpopmail.
At web server sendmail is install with plain smtp authentication.
I had user a patch qmail-remote_authenticated_smtp.patch for
authentication , but it use base64 password format.
My ISP server uses plain authentication, can any one tell me what step
can i take to these.

Hi Group,
I am a new member to this group who joined last
week.I need help for the following:
I installed suse linux 7.3 in my machine.When i
installed i had cirrus logic GD5430 graphics card.It
was not supporting graphical mode..so i installed suse
in text mode.Now i have changed my graphics card to
SIS card which supported graphical mode.Now i tried to
activate the boot splash screen.I changed the
lilo.conf accordingly and ran mk_initrd and lilo.When
i rebooted the splash screen didnt come up.when i did
a dmesg i found the follwoing error
looking for splash image.....no good sinature found.
I have all the necessary splash images in
/usr/share/splash/
Can anybody please help me out here..
