Please help. how critical is your data? why not use the XOR encryption ? though its simple, its very hard to break with a PC. or u can use GNU PG. internet - a basic requirment

hello everybody, shouldn't the govt. start considering the internet as another basic requirment, like electricity and water. the open/free source movement has been possible due to the internet. and when we talk abt reaching every corner of india to benifit each and every ppl with the outcome of such a movement, the internet is going to play the major role. shouldn't we press the govt. to declare the internet service as a basic requirment, just like electricity ? anand saha

Hi Ajay Thanks for your reply. The reason to use wine is just to port those application which are not having any alternatives under Linux. I understand your concern and I fully agree with you that it is meaningless to run winamp using wine when there are various media players available under Gnu/linux. I am still looking for the solution.... net getting time-out

This is about new debian installation with apache and zope installed and internet connected via cable connection. The system is installed with UTF8 encoding.
