Addressbook support * Group renaming * UTF-8 encoded message support If you use libyahoo2, you should probably join the mailing list. libyahoo2 is for people who wish to implement a Yahoo! messenger client. Dear Friend, This is Jawahar, Sys.Admin from Gandhigram University. Until now we are working in Windows platform and we have planned to change over to Linux and mainly for Dikless workstation (we are having nearly 50, 486 machines. I have tried all the possibilities in www.ltsp.org and all other site you have mentioned. But i am receiving error Kernle Panic, No init found. Hi folks Sorry but I just have to share this too. It is a dangerous trend this article talks about and this makes a stronger case for Open Source to be pushed more aggressively. The Business Software Alliance (BSA) mentioned in the article has shades of a Big Brother in the making !! Hi Friends I am a linux enthusiast and exclusively use linux for computing. I am working in a government University where IT and communication infrastructure are in the process of big change. The complete university network is being upgraded to gigabit net and university administration is being totally computerized. At this juncture a very crucial decision needs to be taken. That is regarding the proprietary vs open source software base of the system. I would like to impress upon the authorities to go in for open source softwares. There are supporters of this view but there are also many more who have lots of apprehensions about this. I want to give a talk on this issue to make a very strong and compelling case for GNU/Linux systems. I need ideas regarding the presentation to make it a success. Regards, Manoj
