Devanagari Transliterated Keyboard in GNU/Linux

Hi! Is there a Devanagari Transliterated keyboard Xmodmap file? I have downloaded the Devnagari-Inscript Xmodmap file from NCST: http://www.ncst.ernet.in/projects/indix/HOWTO/DevaHowto/Devanagari-HOWTO-2.… but it is very difficult to type using inscript. -- I'm learning real skills that I can apply throughout the rest of my life ... Procrastinating and rationalizing. -- Calvin

Hello friends 3 months back i had purchased an AMD64 based compaq presario laptop and wish to sell off . model name : AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+ cpu MHz : 1795.502 cache size : 1024 KB Ram = 256MB DDR 333MHz Harddrive = 60GB /dev/hda: Timing buffer-cache reads: 1876 MB in 2.00 seconds = 936.27 MB/sec Timing buffered disk reads: 76 MB in 3.00 seconds = 25.31 MB/sec Optical drive - DVD read / CD RW Dispaly = 15.4" widescreen Video RAM = 64MB NVidia display GForce [ display is amazingly sharp ! ] Max resolution = 1280 x 800 Ethernet 10/100 , Internal Modem 3 USB Ports , 1 Firewire [ not tried ] SVideo Out [ not tried ] Card reader [ not tried ] 1 Parallel Port Display out 2 button touch pad . JBL Pro speakers [ really very good ] Have used SuSE Pro 9.1 and SLES 9 x86_64 and works amazingly well. only problem is the modem which is not very important and havent tried much. debian mirror / iso's needed

Hi, I have been trying to create a local debian mirror ( sid ), but on slow connection hav only managed 3GB in a week. Anyone having a fat pipe to help download it , or preferably the debian iso's for sid/sarge ? Regards, Karunakar
