If you set it to dhcp and there is nothing connected, it may wait to find a dhcp server or you got a lan active and its not setup for linux???? Turn sendmail service off too. It is not needed. Find out the exact device/program where it takes time to load during bootup. If its not needed, get it off.

As soon as it starts to boot the following reasons could lead to consume time...
1) It tries to configure LAN card through DHCP.
2) Hostname issue, Sendmail is confused between "/etc/hosts" and "/etc/sysconfig/network" where normally we define hostname.
3) swap space partition.
the thing is while booting you will get a GUI screen and would'nt know what actually consuming time behind the screen, so do "CTRL+F1" and you will see, the services.
hope this this will help.
