Kmail nuking mails

Hi, I have a folder in kmail with some read messages and some unread messages. The last read message is blank. No subject, no sender, no date and no content. If this is deleted, the next mail also vanishes - no subject, sender, date and content. And if it is deleted same thing happens to the next one. But if I do not delete the 'no subject' mail, I can read the next mail and so on. All the other folders are ok. Hi All, Which is a best antivirus in untubu linux? I'm running squid proxy-server on my ubuntu server I want all the web requests tobe scanned by antivirus for any virus/malware infection and then pass to the user. foss manifesto

Most government guys in charge of IT contract allocation don't have a clue about FOSS. Otherwise they have misconceptions about the user-friendliness and installation etc. In the opinion of the forum, should the draft manifesto have screenshots, snippets of disambiguation about the FOSS desktop etc? Internet problems

Dear All, Having a problem with getting the network with my MTNL modem through ethernet. I might add that I have MTNL ethernet modems (ADSL) in my home, my office and my father's office. However, though DHCP is enabled on all three, my laptop (Acer Aspire One) does not seem able to connect at any of the three. When I ask for a new connection after connecting the wire (the wire gets detected so I don't get the "no carrier" message) I get the state of device eth0 as "ip configuration" by hovering the cursor over the icon of Knetworkmanager. The ehternet light lights up on the router and the little light at the ethernet point on my laptop also lights up. So I think the cable is ok in all places. The desktops at all the three places are working. One curious thing is that Knetworkmanager tries to make a connection and gives the state for decive eth0 as "ip configuration" even when there is no wire in the ethernet jack if I ask for a new connection. In fact, even when there is no wire, I do not get the "no carrier" message. The connections at the mtnl router level are by PPPoE. Hi all, This mail is to announce the formation of the Mumbai Python Users Group as a Google Group.Interested members can subscribe to the list at the following address[1].Aim and agenda of MUMPy is Anything related to Python, with some focus on Mumbai in the lines of ChiPy [2] which is one of the premier Python Users' groups in the US.The basic idea is to promote Python the language in general by educating people and also drive the development of Free & Open Source (as well as commercial) Python applications in Mumbai and beyond. We will hold regular meetings where we can arrange talks, BoFs as well as Hackfests. If we manage to gain enough momentum we can organise an Indian version of PyCon here in Mumbai in the future.On topic discussions are anything related to Python.
