can this fit on one machine

here is a question, thanks for answering in advance. i need a linux server to be installed. i have 10-12 windows clients. on the server i want file sharing print server backup (automatic) firewall proxy server. i have fedora core1 and samba. i will get webmin also. can u tell me wht else would i need. and what type of configuration would the machine need. one more thing, three machines have tally on them. now the solution i have thought about is to have the data of the tally saved on the linux server. the clients will receive it from there and the tally will read the data. tell me if this is possible and sugest how because i have not tried the tally part. thanks again. help: GPRS / IrDA nokia 6610

need to connect my cell (nokia 6610) to a toshiba laptop (satellite 2590cdt) got all the docs... gnokii, gprs scripts.. blah.. blah .. blah... && read thru all the docs... got the driver loaded "donauboe" (toshibsa) irDA.. detected irDA, irattach connect ircomm (as stated in syslog) problem... i get no discover... How do i know if my hardware itself is working (and Please do not suggest i test under wiNz... b/c I WONT!) also... has anyone used the usb / serial cable connection for nokia under GNU /Linux ? and if so .. does it work.. if it doesnt... what are the error messages.. can something be patched together.. though thru' to google says all ok and ya... running kernel 2.6.7 C'ya Erle

Hi , Has anybody ran a web application written in dotnet ASP.net on windows machine to run on GNU\Linux server with "mono' ? If it is possilbe can u please explain me details about your expirece ? Knoppix 3.6 is out?

Hi Is Knoppix 3.6 out? Anyone have a copy? I've heard it has KDE 3.3. Apparently KDE 3.3 is not yet available when I do apt-get install kde. Anyone had any luck getting KDE 3.3 on their debian systems? Rishi

Hi I have one Novell Netware Server and three diskless node with RPL based bootrom LAN card. It is possible to use RPL based LAN can used in LTSP ? What is a difference between RPL bootrom based LAN card and PXE bootrom based LAN card? How to go about purchasing bootrom for LAN card ? I have Digi Link digi 5500 tx LAN card(davicom chipset) without bootrom. Which bootrom i shuould purchase for PXE booting? Thank you Komal
