[Announce] HTML.Template.java version 0.1.1 has been released

For those who don't know, HTML.Template.java is a java implementation of HTML::Template. It is almost completely compatible with HTML::Template.pm The only thing not supported are the caching directives and filters (which are on the way). By popular demand, this release has the global_vars option. die_on_bad_params has also been included. The tutorial on the website has also been updated to reflect some of the newer constructs. Multiple 'root's

Hi! Is it possible to give root previlages to some account ? It shud have all the powers of root. i know its kinda dumb idea but still i wud like to know if its possible. let's consider i want to give root previlages to foo I tried this: $cp /bin/bash /home/foo #chown root /home/foo/bash #chmod +s /home/foo/bash but when i do ./bash in directory nd type whoami it gives me foo nd not root ! what shud i do? Please enlighten.

[RPM error] memory alloc ?

hi there i have downloaded rpm packages of gnome 2 and i started upgrading them as "rpm -Uvh *" but following error occured! Ping Problem

Hello All, I am quite new to Linux system. I installed Red Hat 7.1 on my home computer, which is a stand alone pc, and has no network connected. During installation my mouse was malfunctioning and I may have missed some N/w configuration screens. The problem is whenever i try pinging localhost ping 127.0.0.1 it gives this error: connect: no network found. I tried changing the NETWORKING field to "no" in the file /etc/sysconfig/network Also I checked /etc/hosts for localhost and its there. I discovered this error when I installed webmin and tried to browse to http://127.0.0.1:10000 to run it. Gurpreet, You must have copied the entire CD on the HDD first & then burn the copied contents on a blank CD...Bootable CD's cant be copied that way...Try DISKCOPY'ing the CD & it will work... Kerneld in Kernel-2.4.10/19

Hi, I am trying to compile kernel version 2.4.19-rc1 on my linux box. Presently I have REDHAT7.2 ,with Kernel2.4.7-10 . I want to have kerneld compiled in the kernel(CONFIG_KERNELD).But when I do "make config" The option for Kerneld does not come up at all. Was the option removed ?? Or am I doing something wrong ?? I checked my present installation , even that does not have /sbin/kerneld. Is kerneld removed form linux kernel 2.4 ?? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
