In 2005-05 Microsoft entered into an MoU with Karnataka government to set-up three academies in Karnataka, where the curriculum includes only Microsoft products. These academies are set-up on public(government) land and train government teachers on MS products only. This is clearly a problem and hence we want to write to the government, and make sure they do not renew the MoU when it comes up for renewal this year. This letter also requests that the government take a firm stand in promoting and using FOSS.
