Hi List,
Perhaps some of the active members of the list should encourage new members to join and participate on the FSUG-Blr list. Internet is great tool that can be harnessed to have continued discussions and advocacy along with the activities conducted from time to time.
Prof.Eben in his recent talk made an interesting remark about encouraging the more elder (40+) people to use GNU software, this is a very good idea. Not only it generates positive interest but also these people who may be leading institutions, organizations, media persons or policy makers can in turn influence a large portion of population.
We have a billion people to reach in India, haven't we?
Cheers

Hello all, It will be great if we can restart our regular FSUG meets. Perhaps on a monthly basis. Anything but staying quite. It seems that we get active only near some program and then go back to our state of inertia- a perfectly natural condition of nature :-) I propose that we meet up the next Saturday(16th June) somewhere, sometime and getting our juices flowing. What say all? Suggestions for what we can discuss.. For starters: I think there were some pointers on http://fci.wikia.com/ Maybe we can start off with that... With warm wishes Vincent

among them is the teaching community. it is worthwhile to do support programs for them.
