I am Veena D. student of R.V. College of Engineering and have been placed at
Cognizant Technology Solutions. My friends Uday Bhat, Pritesh Parmar and
myself were doing project in J2ME technology since few months and would like
to present a tutorial regarding the same.
To brief out the technology...
Java Platform, Micro Edition (Java ME) is a collection of technologies and
specifications to create a platform that fits the requirements for mobile
devices such as consumer products, embedded devices, and advanced mobile
devices. It is a collection of technologies and specifications that can be
combined to create a complete Java runtime environment specifically to fit
the requirements of a particular device or market.
please let me know the details.

hi,
I can do workshops on the following topics.
some can be hands-on seminars, and some will be demo workshops.
1, python basics and beyond. this would include basics on python, how
to do object oriented programming and combining pygtk and database
connectors for software development.
2, accessibility demo workshop. how gnome accessibility works with
screen readers for blind computer users, how to contribute and how to
further develop web accessibility with mozila firefox.
3, how to remaster a distro (taking ubuntu as an example). would be
very intensive.
Please also recommend if we should do a php mysql workshop. although
it has become very common, it is not evidant to masses that php and
mysql as well as apache is free software, and they have been using it
without the knowledge of the fact that it is free software as in
freedom.
Plese let me know.
happy hacking.

Can you present on technical topics on GNU/Linux.
Sure. What topics could we cover?
IEEE blr is interested in working with free software community .
We are planning to meet the IEEE folks at 3.30 p.m Thursday for a very
prelimnary discussion to see how to take things forward.
I think I too could make myself available.
