It would be good if we can invite a few degree colleges such as 1. Christ College, 2. St. Joseph's college, etc... Regards Vincent

I fail to see the reason for inviting local colleges to GPLv3 conference?

Maybe it may not directly influence the conference but we need the participation of the student community and support of the teaching community and a few good institutions in our favour will be to our advantage. Anyway there is no harm done and no loss either. Regards Vincent
In that case you could invite some reps from the universities itself :-)
And vincent will take up this job.

Yup, I did'nt mention the Universities (VTU & BU) and local Engg. cols but they too were on the list. If the invitations are ready I offer to take up the inviting part along with anyone who is interested. Regards Vikram Vincent

Ps:Hope we have'nt forgotten "Free Software for Education & E-Governance". We do need people from the "Education" community. If the invitations are not ready, I can prepare one. Regards Vikram Vincent

Someone who might be a very attentive (and apt) invitee would be Dipankar Das (of GLT Madhyamgram project) whose work is there on the FSFI site. Would folks agree ?

I think along with finalizing the invitee list, we should also focus on getting the invitation letter ready.
2 jobs, pending here 1. Prepare the content of the letter (Please excuse me if the letter has already been drafted, if not, can someone draft one, and make it available for discussion?)
2. Get the invitations printed-on FSF India letter head( The number of copies required can be known only after the final list of invitees is ready)
