Christian, For those with alioth accounts, do we have to re-register ourselves on Pootle or is the svn commit sufficient? Regards, Vikram Vincent
2009/7/8 Christian Perrier bubulle@debian.org:
So, yes they can. http://pootle.debian.net
It needs someone to create self an account and /me to give him|her rights to "administer" D-I/Kannada and particularly to "commit" files back to D-I SVN through Pootle. I'd say Vikram is the right candidate for this..:-)
Then other potential translators could register themselves on Pootle and ask the coordinator to give them rights to translate on the d-i project for Kannada.
This effort involves only translations, but if you are interested in helping with coding, there are other important tasks that needs to be completed for proper Kannada support in GNU/Linux. For translations talk to Vikram, if interested in other projects, respond here.
