Christian, For those with alioth accounts, do we have to re-register ourselves on Pootle or is the svn commit sufficient? Important point for us. How can we make sure, we will introduce other Freedoms in ICT@School project in Karnataka. I think something like Google's Highly Open Participation Contest would be good http://code.google.com/intl/ml-IN/opensource/ghop/2007-8/ I hope our summer of code students can help in this. About: Request for volunteers to translate debian installer to Kannada

My father and my uncle both are prof in Kannada with almost 33 years of experience in National collg Basavangudi and Jaynagara respectively , but the thing is they are not used to launchpad translations , but they have done many translations , right now my uncle is working on a Kannada site in mysore university , so m sure they can help us a lot , so i request anyone here to send me a list of word so that i can request them to translate those whenever they are free , m sure we will get loads of translations :0) -- 'I am what I am because of who we all are' http://www.h3manth.com -- Hemanth HM

Hi all, The task for FSUG Bangalore team for ICT@School project is as follows; 1)Volunteers + Trainers required 2)Syllabus design team required 3)Installation Team required To volunteer FSUG Bangalore for the project its not necessary to know Kannada. I think Trainers and Installation team should know kannada. So if anyone can take up the above tasks they can update in the wiki.
